T.R.U.E Leadership retreat - May 23-28, 2013
I am really excited about the TRUE Leadership Retreat coming up on May 23-28, 2013 at Camp Caraway in Asheboro, NC. Anyone in the international community (students, scholars, faculty and spouses) can register for TRUE Leadership. My organization, International Students, Inc. is sponsoring the retreat, and we are recruiting students from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida to attend.
Attendees will be challenged physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually as they grapple with the leadership principles presented by our Key Note speakers and explore them further in Life Groups.
We will have two wonderfully gifted international leaders as Key Note speakers:
* Dr. Sundar Manoharan (from India) one of the top nanotechnologists in India and even the world.
* Emmanuel Tuombe (from Rwanda, now living in Gabon, is a former international student, and is now a senior civil engineer working with Bechtel International. He is founder of Engineers Without Borders in his home country of Rwanda.
The deadline to register for $290 is April 20th (includes all meals, 5 nights lodging, all activities at the camp including ropes course, swimming, paintball, other outdoors events). If you register April 21 or after, the cost is will be $325 per person.
The goal of the TRUE leadership retreat is to help international scholars achieve excellence in these four areas: Trust, Relationship, Understanding/Wisdom & Excellence. I hope you can attend and learn how to become a more effective leader today and in the future!
I have a video I can send you if you would like more information. Email me for more information.
Thanks, Aubrey
